Q: How are your chiral compounds classified?
A: We classified the chiral compounds in our website into following classes and subclasses according to their function groups and use frequency. The subclass title appears only when there are enough compounds in that subclass. As a rule, the available enantiomers are listed in pairs.

Q: How to search a product?
A: There is a search bar on the product page. You can search a product by its CAS
number or by its partial name. Our products are categorized into Chiral Chemicals and
Advanced Chemicals. In each category, the products are further classified according to
their function groups. All of our products are listed by their structures and names, so
you can also search a product by browsing the product list by classes and subclasses page
by page or view them all in one page. The structure search function is not available at
the time being.
Q: What does the "Cluster" mean?
A: For some compounds, in the detailed information page, you will find a
"Cluster" button on the upper left corner, if you click on it, compounds which
are derived from a single root compound will appear. For example, any derivative of
tert-leucine, no matter it is a protected amino acid, an amino alcohol, an oxazolidinone,
or an oxazoline, belongs to tert-leucine cluster.
Q: Do you make all the compounds listed in your website?
A: Well, the accurate answer is that all those listed compounds are available. Some
of the compounds are "ours" and manufactured in our own factories. Some of the
compounds are from other manufacturers with whom we have drop-shipping agreements. Some of
the compounds are even from our competitors since we know they have. We try our best to
serve our customers’ needs; However, if you would like to directly order from the
manufacturers, please ask us, we are happy to refer you to them.
Q: Does D-L Chiral Chemicals offer bulk discounts?
A: Yes, we offer discounts for bulk orders and sometimes the discount can be as
deep as 80% off the regular retail prices since they are directly shipped from the
manufacturing sites; please e-mail your order to sales@dlchiral.com
or fax it to 732-359-1599, indicating the bulk amount requested. The discounts will be
reflected in the quotation we send to you. We also have promotions on selected
products/services periodically.
Q: What is the shipping price for ordered item(s)?
A: It depends on what products and how much you have ordered and where you are. We
ship bulk order directly from the manufacturing sites. You will get an estimated price in
the confirmation letter. However, we keep a small quantity of most compounds in our sales
office in Princeton New Jersey USA. The shipping prices for the samples and small orders
are: $25 for US overnight, $15 for US two days, $40 for Canada overnight, and $60 for all
other international deliveries.
Q: How do I place an order on-line?
A: 1. Create a new account or login to your existing on-line account.
2. To find your desired product, you may browse through the directory and order products
individually by clicking on "Add to Cart" at the page of each product. To order
multiple items, just keep adding the items to the Cart.
3. When you are finished shopping, review your order and delete items you don’t want.
4. When you decide to order, just click on the "Order" icon at the bottom of the
Cart page. Fill in quantity and the required information. Click the "submit"
icon.
5. Log out your account by clicking on "Logout" icon at the right side of the
"My Account" icon.
6. A sales representative will contact you within 24 hours to finalize your order.
Q: How do I open a new on-line account?
A: 1. Log on to our website at www.dlchiral.com.
2. Click on "My Account" icon on top of the page.
3. Click on "Start an Account" in the login page.
4. Choose your preferred Customer ID# and password. It can be a number or a word.
5. Fill out all the required information and click on submit.
6. An e-mail confirmation will be sent to you.
Q: What is the difference between Quote and Inquire?
A: There are three choices in the Cart page after you adding a product into the Cart --- continue, quote and inquire. When you finish shopping, click on "quote" if you already has an account with us or you are going to set up one ; click on "inquire" if you don't want to have an account with us, and you just want to give us your minimum contact information.
